Evidence in Action

The reflections shared here are drawn from facilitation and advisory work carried out across community, emergency management, and professional practice contexts. They reflect how the work is experienced by participants and collaborators, rather than outcomes measured against predetermined indicators.

The insights shared on this page draw on facilitation and advisory work delivered by Jason Wharewera across different professional contexts. Some engagements were undertaken in previous roles, prior to the establishment of E360°Map, while others are delivered within the current E360°Map practice. Feedback is presented in anonymised form and is shared to illustrate facilitation approach, cultural intelligence, relevance to local contexts, and learning experience only. No organisational endorsement is implied, and the views expressed are those of participants and collaborators, independent of any employer or institution.

"The simulation activity was a powerful way to put learning into action. The interactive approach keep everyone engaged, and role-playing the different functions made it real to experience what a response can actually feel like.”

Professional Reflections | Collaborative Practice

"Jason and I have collaborated on multiple community-driven, complex social change projects over the years. Initially, in his capacity as the Ethnic Liaison Police Officer, followed by his role in Emergency Management.

He has consistently demonstrated exemplary professionalism, integrity, and accountability in all his engagements.

He is dedicated, passionate, and tirelessly driven in developing long-lasting community improvements and is always willing to go the extra mile to achieve positive change.

His multicultural background, along with his understanding of intricately layered social norms, plays a vital role in his ability to deliver quality impact in difficult situations. I look forward to ongoing collaboration with Jason in Aotearoa and internationally."
